Alaska Right to Life is an umbrella advocacy organization dedicated to the mission “to protect and defend innocent human life from the moment of conception until natural end of life.” We are accountable to a nine-member independent Board of Directors that oversees the implementation of our mission, which is carried out through education, moral activism and political action.
Alaska Right to Life is comprised of four distinct entities:
- Alaska Right to Life, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation through which we educate and coordinate moral activism
- Alaska Right to Life Committee is a 501(c)4 corporation used for issue advocacy and lobbying activities
- Alaska Right to Life PAC is a political action committee used to assist pro-life candidates and campaigns.
- Alaska Right to Life Pro-Life Victory Fund was set up to allow corporate donations for independent expenditures for political candidates.
We receive no government funding, and are completely dependent on friends who share our belief that every human life is a gift from God and must be treated with the reverence due an image of the divine. Our nation’s founding document declares: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights,” among which is LIFE.
