Dear George,

I am truly disappointed in the reports Alaska Right To Life has provided regarding your voting and sponsoring record during the 30th Legislature. Specifically:

–    You voted a Democrat and known abortion proponent to be the Speaker of the House January 17, 2017.  Because the Speaker decides which bills get heard and when, your vote for pro-abortion Democrat Bryce Edgmon was a vote against any Pro-Life legislation.

–    You Co-Sponsored The Abortion Procedures Act, HB 266 on January 16, 2018, just days after Alaska Right to Life condemned the bill and called for its immediate withdrawal because it regulates the method of killing babies in the womb while it violates the principles that life begins at conception and that every person is created in the image of God and deserves the rights and protections He mandates for us all.

–    You threw away 656 days from June 10, 2016, when you pledged to sponsor The Alaska Life at Conception Act (HB 250), until March 28, 2018, when you co-sponsored the bill, leaving just 46 days until the end of the 30th Legislature to advance a bill you neglected for nearly two years.

–    You opposed an Alaska Right To Life Personhood Amendment to SCR 17 on April 13, 2018.

Mr. Rauscher, you have failed to live up to the pro-life promises you made on the campaign trail in 2016 and on the Personhood Affirmation you signed with Alaska Right to Life on June 10, 2016.

Alaska Right to Life will keep me informed about your campaign promises and, if you are re-elected in November, your voting and sponsoring record in the 31st Legislature.

Signed,

George, I'm really disappointed in you, but I'm still with you on election day.George, I'm really disappointed in you, and you've lost my vote.George, I'm really disappointed in you and you should withdraw your candidacy.
