What it means to be pro-life

The Pro-Life position asserts that intentionally killing innocent people is always morally wrong; that every abortion intentionally kills an innocent human being; and therefore, abortion is always morally wrong and must be opposed.

Consistent Action for life

Stephen Wright has demonstrated consistent Pro-Life advocacy over his entire career in Alaska.

Stephen Wright has committed to protect children from conception and beyond:

  • Equal Protection for all children from conception, without exception.
  • Prohibit government funded abortions.
  • Define Alaska’s Privacy Rights to PROTECT babies in the womb.
  • Protect children from puberty blocking drug and cross-sex hormone abuse.

Why is Elexie Moore the Pro-Choice Candidate?

Elexie Moore embodies what it means to be Pro-Choice while asserting she is Pro-Life through and through.

But service in the Legislature often reveals the difference between what a politician says, and more importantly, what she says.

“After I voted AGAINST LIFE, I voted FOR it.  Then I voted AGAINST LIFE again.”

After Alaska Right to Life Members put tremendous pressure on members of the Legislature and stalled the bill in the House Finance Committee, Republican Elexie Moore helped abortion activist and bill sponsor Genevieve Mina push an abortion smokescreen amendment through the Finance Committee. Republican Elexie Moore.

Elexie Moore helped Democrats, ABORTION ACTIVISTS, and Big Pharma FOUR TIMES:

1. Elexie Moore BLOCKED Pro-Life Protections from the bill.  Without a Pro-Life amendment, pharmacists would be free to prescribe, administer, and dispense abortion pills.

2. Elexie Moore OFFERED an Abortion Smokescreen Amendment that hid their intentions to distribute abortion pills through pharmacies

3.  Elexie Moore VOTED to PASS HB 195 from the Finance Committee.

4.  Elexie Moore VOTED to PASS HB 195 from the Legislature.

The Pro-Life Amendment that Elexie Moore helped the Democrats and abortion activists defeat:

Moore pitched the ABORTION SMOKESCREEN AMENDMENT as pro-life, as if it would block Mifepristone prescriptions and dispensing through pharmacies.

But you’ve got to ask: when do abortion activists write, let alone offer pro-life amendments to anything.

Simple: NEVER.

The amendment was a smokescreen; autumn trees without fruit, or clouds without rain… in other words, an amendment without meaning a trick.

How the amendment works within HB 195:

(d) In this section, “patient care services“
(2) does not include the prescription or administration of the
following drugs unless the drug is being used for the treatment of an opioid use
disorder in a clinic:
(B) a drug that may only be prescribed or administered
after completing a certified education program required by
(i) the manufacturer; or
(ii) the United States Food and Drug
Administration, including by a risk evaluation and mitigation
strategy; or
(C) a drug that is not generally available at pharmacies and
may only be dispensed at a pharmacy that
(i) is authorized by the manufacturer to dispense the
drug; or
(ii) meets a requirement to dispense the drug under
federal law.

What all that means is if either the FDA or the drug manufacturer requires certified education programs to be completed before prescribing or dispensing a drug, then Mifepristone cannot be prescribed.

But the FDA does NOT require a certified education program of any kind with Mifepristone.  So, the limitation does NOT apply to Mifepristone.

The FDA’s Risk Evaluation Mitigation Strategies (REMS) do NOT require a certified education program of any kind with Mifepristone.  The limitation does NOT apply to Mifepristone.

Mifepristone’s manufacturers do NOT require a certified education program of any kind with Mifepristone.  The limitation does NOT apply to Mifepristone.

Next, there is no indication that Mifepristone is not ‘generally available’ at pharmacies.

Additionally, Mifepristone is not dispensed by authorized pharmacies, but by certified pharmacies.

Wait, you say.  You’re splitting hairs.  Authorized or certified pharmacies, it’s all the same.

Yes, I am splitting hairs.  Just as tightly as the bill authors split hairs.

But the certification process (below) imposed by the FDA’s REMS and by the manufacturers is very different than obtaining an authorization.

Finally, as you’ll see below, none of these restrictions apply to prescribers (doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, etc.), and therefore, they do not apply to pharmacists operating within Collaborative Practice Agreements.

Let’s apply a little common sense to these last two lines: how many drugs are in pharmacies that do not have some type of authorization by either the manufacturer, some federal law, or both?  Probably none.  Again, words without meaning.

When it was time for North Pole Republican Elexie Moore to give unborn babies the benefit of the doubt, she refused and joined Democrats and abortion activists by running their abortion pill smokescreen amendment, BLOCKING the only PRO-LIFE amendment, and then Elexie Moore voted to PASS Abortion Pill expanding bill, HB 195.

When HB 195 was not yet clearly understood to expand Mifepristone Abortion Pill distribution from 1 to 300 locations through Alaska’s pharmacies, Elexie Moore lined up in favor of abortion activists and Big Pharma.

When Alaska Right to Life Members showed Elexie Moore how HB 195 could legalize abortion pill distribution through pharmacies, she gaslit them, saying that she knew better than trained professionals and the Legislature’s own legal staff.

When the Alaska Right to Life Executive Director talked with Elexie Moore, she shrugged the concerns off as irrelevant to the more important question: how to improve rural pharmacy access in Alaska.

When the question was called and Elexie Moore should have given unborn babies the benefit of the doubt, Elexie Moore TURNED HER BACK ON THE UNBORN and doubled – down on her support for HB 195.

Because HB 195 allows broad independent pharmacist prescription authority;

Because HB 195 allows unrestricted Collaborative Practice Agreements;

Because HB 195 allows pharmacists to prescribe and dispense otherwise restricted drugs under Collaborative Practice Agreements;

Because HB 195 allows pharmacists to prescribe and dispense Mifepristone abortion pills directly through their pharmacies.

Elexie Moore voted to expand abortion pill access through 300(+) Alaskan pharmacies through HB 195.

May 15, 2026 Elexie Moore offered Abortion Smokescreen Amendment 3 in the Finance Committee.

May 15, 2026 Elexie Moore voted to KILL Pro-Life Amendment 5 in the Finance Committee.

May 15, 2026 Elexie Moore voted to PASS HB 195 from the Alaska House.

When Elexie Moore should have given unborn babies the benefit of the doubt, he TURNED HER BACK ON THE UNBORN and doubled – down on her support for HB 195.

Because HB 195 allows broad independent pharmacist prescription authority;

Because HB 195 allows unrestricted Collaborative Practice Agreements;

Because HB 195 allows pharmacists to prescribe and dispense otherwise restricted drugs under Collaborative Practice Agreements;

Because HB 195 allows pharmacists to prescribe and dispense Mifepristone abortion pills directly through their pharmacies.

Elexie Moore voted to expand abortion pill access through 300(+) Alaskan pharmacies through HB 195.

Elexie Moore deserves just as much benefit of the doubt as she gave unborn babies: NONE.
