The Pro-Life position asserts that intentionally killing innocent people is always morally wrong; that every abortion intentionally kills an innocent human being; and therefore, abortion is always morally wrong and must be opposed.
David Eastman has demonstrated a consistent Pro-Life record over his entire career in Alaska.
NOTEWORTHY BILLS SPONSORED
Eastman fought consistently throughout his eight years in the Legislature to strip funding from abortion and irreversible puberty-blocking and cross-sex hormone abuse on children.
Often standing alone, as he did when opposing transgender drug abuse in 2024, David’s courage has defined him as a leader in a legislature that is all too often bereft leadership, and courage for the unborn.
Jubilee Underwood embodies what it means to be Pro-Choice while asserting she is Pro-Life through and through.
But service in the Legislature often reveals the difference between what a politician says, and more importantly, what she says.
After more than 250,000 emails, petitions, and phone calls were sent by Alaska Right to Life Members, HB 195 members of the House did three things:
1. BLOCKED Pro-Life Protections from the bill. Without the amendment, pharmacists would be free to prescribe, administer, and dispense abortion pills.
“Before I voted against it, I voted for it.”
Before Jubilee Underwood voted against HB 195, she voted FOR HB 195.
HB 195 made it to the House Floor on May 15, and Pro-Life Amendment 1 was immediately offered:
Did Jubilee understand what was at stake?
Why would Alaska Right to Life Members from across the state call, write, and email in for months if there was nothing to be concerned about?
How could she not understand?
She must have – because Jubilee Underwood voted FOR Amendment 1’s Pro-Life Protections to be added to the bill.
The vote was to KILL Pro-Life Amendment 1.
Names in GREEN voted to KILL Pro-Life Amendment 1.
Names in RED voted to ADD Pro-Life Protections to HB 195.
Jubilee Underwood voted to ADD Pro-Life Protections to HB 195.
Jubilee obviously understood the risks: abortion pills being prescribed and distributed through pharmacies across Alaska – otherwise, why vote for a wildly unpopular amendment?
But the Pro-Life Amendment was KILLED 23 to 17.
HB 195 would advance with NO protections for babies. Abortion pills would be prescribed and dispensed in Alaska’s pharmacies.
Jubilee Voted to Pass HB 195
Why Vote to pass a bill that could kill babies?
‘Before I voted FOR abortion pill distribution, I voted AGAINST abortion pill distribution.’
Before Jubilee voted to PASS HB 195, allowing pharmacists to prescribe and dispense abortion pills, she voted AGAINST allowing pharmacists to prescribe and dispense abortion pills.
Since abortion pills intentionally kill babies before they are born, and it is always wrong to intentionally kill an innocent person, how can a Pro-Life legislator vote to EXPAND abortion pill distribution from two Planned Parenthood abortion facilities to as many as 300(+) pharmacies across Alaska?
A Pro-Choice Vote
Any official action or vote to affirmatively create, preserve, or expand a woman’s legal ‘choice’ to intentionally kill her unborn child by abortion must be recognized as a pro-choice action, regardless of the politician’s stated beliefs, personal opposition to abortion, or claimed Pro-Life identification.
Since intentionally killing an innocent person is always wrong and must be opposed;
Since Jubilee recognized that HB 195 would cause more babies to be intentionally killed without Pro-Life Amendment 1, she KNEW that voting to PASS HB 195 would cause more babies to die;
Jubilee Underwood KNEW that voting to pass HB 195 was a PRO-CHOICE VOTE because any vote to affirmatively create, preserve, or expand a woman’s legal ‘choice’ to intentionally kill her unborn child by abortion IS a pro-choice action.
“After I voted FOR it, I voted AGAINST it.”
Finally, on June 19th, the Legislature voted to OVERRIDE Governor Dunleavy’s veto of HB 195.
On her THIRD HB 195 vote, Jubilee Underwood voted to SUSTAIN the Governor’s veto.
Confused yet?
May 15, 2026 Jubilee Underwood voted to PROTECT babies from abortion pill distribution in pharmacies. Just minutes later…
May 15, 2026 Jubilee Underwood voted to expand abortion pill distribution from two abortion facilities to as many as 300(+) pharmacies. Just over a month later…
June 19, 2026 Jubilee Underwood voted to SUSTAIN Governor Dunleavy’s veto of HB 195.
The HB 195 veto was overridden on June 19, 2026.
If anything, Underwood’s votes on abortion pill distribution through pharmacies was inconsistent and unreliable.
And that is why she must be replace.
Babies need a consistent and reliable voice and vote in the Legislature.
They also need an honest advocate: Jubilee Underwood continues to defend her votes – not on their merit, not because the bill changed from minute to minute, or day to day – but because she’s just so pro-life.
But any official action or vote to affirmatively create, preserve, or expand a woman’s legal ‘choice’ to intentionally kill her unborn child by abortion must be recognized as a pro-choice action, regardless of the politician’s stated beliefs, personal opposition to abortion, or claimed Pro-Life identification.
When it mattered, Jubilee Underwood’s votes betrayed her pro-life beliefs, her claim to a Pro-Life identification, and most importantly, her votes betrayed generations of unborn children that were depending on her to be a consistent, courageous voice for their right to be born and to live.
Pro-Choice Jubilee Underwood must not return to the Legislature in 2027.
Vote David Eastman, the ONLY Pro-Life Candidate for Wasilla’s District 27.
