Three Steps to Stop
Taxpayer Funded Abortions in Alaska
1. RECOGNIZE
Alaska’s Courts broke the law when they created the “fundamental and constitutional right to abortion” in 1997.
The Governor has the authority to “enforce compliance with any CONSTITUTIONAL or legislative mandate.”
The Governor’s powers authorize him to “restrain violation of any constitutional or legislative power, duty, or right…”
2. RESTRAIN
Alaska’s Courts violated Alaskans‘ constitutional rights when they declared abortion to be a constitutional right. Governor Dunleavy has the constitutional power to restrain this violation of our constitutional rights.
Alaska’s Courts violated the Legislature’s rights and duties when they declared abortion to be protected by Article 1, Section 22 (the right to privacy), which is the exclusive jurisdiction of the Legislature. Governor Dunleavy has the constitutional authority to restrain this violation of the Legislature’s power and authority.
Alaska’s Courts violated the Legislature’s authority to make appropriations (control spending) when they ordered the State to pay every invoice the abortion industry submits when they kill a baby whose mother can’t afford to pay herself.
Governor Dunleavy has the constitutional OBLIGATION to restrain these violations of law and the constitution, since he swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the State of Alaska.
3. REFUSE
Alaska’s Legislature prohibited abortion funding in the 2020 budget. REFUSING to pay for another baby to be killed is the only legal action for Governor Dunleavy to take.
The Courts’ clearly broke the law and violated the constitution, clearly making their decrees and orders unconstitutional and unenforceable. RESTRAINING the Courts’ unconstitutional power over abortion funding and payments by REFUSING to pay for another baby to be killed honors Governor Dunleavy’s oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the State of Alaska.
REFUSING to pay for another baby to be killed is the first step for the Governor to take in RESTRAINING the Courts’ illegal decrees and orders after he RECOGNIZES their lawlessness and his power and authority.
THE PLAN TO SAVE BABIES
1. REACH
Encouraging Governor Dunleavy to RECOGNIZE his authority, RESTRAIN Alaska’s Courts, and REFUSE to pay for a single child to be killed is a significant project and requires nearly every Pro-Life Alaskan’s involvement.
We need to REACH every Pro-Life Alaskan with the opportunity to save two babies every day.
We need to REACH every Pro-Life Alaskan voter so they can learn the truth about abortion funding, sign Petition Cards, mail letters, send emails, and call the Governor’s office politely but urgently encouraging Governor Dunleavy to REFUSE to pay for another baby to be killed.
To REACH them, we’re going grassroots, starting at the Alaska State Fair.
– Every visitor will learn about how Alaska’s Courts have stretched, twisted and shattered the constitution in their decisions, decrees, and orders.
– Every visitor will learn how Alaska’s Courts violated the constitution when they forced Alaskans to pay for babies to be killed.
– Every visitor will learn how they can help Governor Dunleavy RECOGNIZE his opportunity, RESTRAIN the Courts, and REFUSE to pay for another baby to be killed.
– Every visitor will be asked to sign an Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Card.
2. RESPOND
Every Pro-Life Alaskan will be asked to sign an Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Card, which we’ll immediately record and mail to Governor Dunleavy.
Every Pro-Life Alaskan will be asked to take an Abortion Payments Initiative Packet with five more Petition Cards for friends and family members to sign.
Once the Abortion Payments Initiative Packets are returned and logged, then those five new Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Cards will be mailed to Governor Dunleavy.
Using the Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Packets will multiply the number of people RESPONDING by FIVE TIMES, turning one State Fair visitor into SIX Petition Card signers!
As Pro-Life Alaskans RESPOND and take Abortion Payments Initiative Packets with them, we’re expecting to distribute, collect, and mail 9,000 to 12,000 Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Cards to Governor Dunleavy in just over two weeks!
3. REPEAT
Once the Fair is over, we will target 10,000 more Pro-Life Alaskans with social media, direct mail, phone calls, and speaking engagements across the state.
As funding allows, we will REPEAT this step until we reach every Pro-Life Alaskan voter – or until Governor Dunleavy to RECOGNIZES his opportunity, RESTRAINS the Courts, and REFUSES to pay for another baby to be killed.
HOW YOU CAN SAVE BABIES

With your help, we will REPEAT this process until every Pro-Life Alaskan voter RESPONDS – or until Governor Dunleavy REFUSES to pay for another baby to be killed.
REACHING Pro-Life Alaskans voters at the State Fair, with social media, direct mail, phone calls, meetings and rallies will cost Alaska Right to Life just over $10,000 for every 10,000 Abortion Payments Initiative Petition Cards we’re able to deliver to Governor Dunleavy.
